for the holiday season of 2010! <3

------

OMG super-saturated picture hurts my eyeees. This is what happens when I colour on the laptop. eesh. This was meant to be a smaller idea, but ended up taking several hours in the end.
Closest I can get to chibi-fying Adair and Lily here.
Adair ain't expressive, but hopefully Lily's leer explains how they generally feel towards one another. 8D Yup. Lily's hair was also oranger on my laptop, but oh well; she's a strawberry blonde in any case.

They wouldn't be drinking in-character (Adair and Lily don't at least, generally), but if they were, vodka, rum, and tequila would be what I sketched in here for the situation. Hrrr.
This was.. so lazy. And the colours.. they so bright. *eyebleed*

Happy holidays! :holly: :xmas:
------------
Drawn in Paint Tool Sai with a Graphire3/Intuos4, touched up and dialogue'd in CS2.
*traded tablets in the process of this - basically sketched and touched up with the new tablet, but the Graphire was what I did most of the work with.

Adair, Julien, Lily -- myself (genji-rose)

But I like bright colours! (Anarchy, what?)

Happy holidays to you too! <3
I wish I could make a holiday picture as well, but my scanner is being evil :(

It's just weird for me, not bad.. I was constantly shifting my laptop screen to get the colours to stand out/stand out less as needed. ^^; (Also, been trying to experiment with coloured lineart again which might make things look brighter? ^^)

Season's greetings! 8D <3

Sorta had the realization this year - and I didn't notice until you mentioned scanner- that I've gotten much better at sketching in PS/SAI.. whereas I used to be mostly-crippled without a scanner to scan the traditionally-drawn sketch in first. Hmm O.O
Hope your scanner gets fixed soon - maybe something for the New Year? :)

Thanks :D
I should start making pictures on my computer -but my PS doesn't work on Windows 7 :( So I either need to buy a new Photoshop version, or download a program and I just haven't gotten around to it. Maybe I'll do it now O.o

I need to start nagging at my dad to fix it. He usually fixes things :)

Hmmm, I actually had a similar problem when I had Windows 7! Luckily a reinstallation helped, and I had to get new drivers because when PS worked, then my tablet stopped O.O
Luckily I have PS from a friend - I'd be happy to help you get ahold of it again if it were necessary (I have CS2 though, it might be a downgrade from your version ;-; ) :)

Well, I have PS Elements 5, so it's a bit old... I think I'll just get the CS2 at some point and keep doing traditional stuff until then :) (procrastination what?)

I've never used PS Elements of any sort, so no idea how different it is.. If you want a hand getting CS2 I'd be glad to try - don't know how, though, unless you've an IM program I can send it through (no viruses, I swear xD; I'd die if this computer got a virus and crashed on me.) Just let me know via note if you'd like.

Heeee. Procrastination or not, you can learn to do digital stuff eventually - I never thought I'd make time to sketch in Photoshop digitally [I've always stunk at it], but 'lo and behold, I have improved. ^^ ...Somehow.
